Typically, the smaller the jar, the less it will fill the room with scent...the more surface area it has, the more fragrance it will release into the air.

Choose 13 oz. for large rooms (family rooms, large bedrooms, office space, etc.)

Choose 7 oz. for smaller rooms (bathrooms, cubicles, small bedrooms, etc.)

You may have to try different sizes and scent levels for your space, but either way, we have you covered!

We pour our candles as full as we can so you get the most bang for your buck! When you first light your candle, you will find that the flame is more exposed as it sits higher in the jar, so expect the flame to flicker and dance a bit until it settles into a long burn. Wood wicks tend to “dance” and crackle more than cotton wicks…that’s what they’re meant to do and is part of their charm!

Plan to burn for a minimum of 1 hr., but no more than 4 hrs. at a time. Not burning your candle long enough can cause tunneling where the wax doesn’t melt to the edges of the jar. Drafty areas can cause tunneling as well as sooting, but the luxury coconut apricot wax we use in our candles is quite forgiving and should catch up, so even if it looks like it’s going to tunnel, it will melt beautifully. When you have enjoyed it for 4 hrs., allow the wax to cool and harden again, trim the wick and start enjoying again! Store in cool place with lid to keep dust and debris out of the candle.

After every burn, your candle needs trimming. If you don’t, the wick will create soot until it settles into a burn and you may leave black bits behind in your beautiful candle! Sooting may also occur if you burn longer than 4 hours. Trim cotton wicks to 1/4” and wood wicks to 1/8” before relighting.

We know you will enjoy your candle…and you’re going to squeeze the very last out of it…but you should only burn your Candlogic candle to the last 1/2” of melted wax. Not stopping at a safe level can result in overheating your jar and the wax, resulting in very bad things, including an “off” scent.

Candlogic is a small operation...for now...so we will do our absolute best to process your shipment as quickly as possible!  We strive to get an order out no later than five days from the receipt of your order (providing the items are in-stock and not a custom order), but we cannot guarantee these times as real life sometimes prohibits that.  

Unfortunately, delivery time is completely out of our hands.  Once your package is dropped off at the shipping service, we have no control and cannot change or intercept packages, so please be sure you enter your address/delivery information accurately at checkout.

We cannot be responsible or liable for delayed, re-routed, failed or stolen deliveries.

NOTE:  During the Summer months, we can only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to avoid your shipment sitting in a hot truck or warehouse over the weekend and risk your items being damaged.

Every product we make at Candlogic is handmade in small batches in a home environment.

Because we refrain from using additives and our products aren't made in mass by machines, there will be the occasional minor flaw, and some that are just inherent in candle making, such as wax pulling away from the side of the jar as it expands and contracts, discolorations inherent in the fragrance oil...that can also cause rust in tins, and yes, even the occasional crooked label. ;-)

None of these factors should sway you and will certainly not keep you from enjoying your candle or wax melt!

NOTE: None of these natural flaws listed above, and not limited to them, will justify a return/refund.
